Here at Oracle Precision, we’re continually growing our business and we’re now recruiting for a Sliding Head Programmer, Setter, Operator to join the team at our Manvers site.
The ideal candidate will have a stong work-ethic, be able to work well individually or as part of a team and will have experience in the following areas:
- Programming, operating, and setting sliding head machines
- Selecting tooling for jobs
- Reading engineering drawings
- Working with a range of materials to tight tolerances
- Setting up and changing machine programs
- Working with both low and high volume precision manufacturing
- The ability to use Star machines is essential
- The ability to check jobs using CMM equipment would be advantageous
