Oracle Precision Welcomes the Next Generation of CNC Machining.
To support increasingly complex components, tighter tolerances, and growing customer demand for multi-axis machining capability, we have made a strategic investment in next-generation CNC technology.
This investment forms part of Kaleidex Group’s continued commitment to modern manufacturing, increased production capacity, and long-term operational efficiency across Oracle Precision.
The Challenge
For more than 15 years, we successfully relied on a range of trusted Haas machine tools, including the Haas VF-1, Haas VF-4, Haas Mini Mill, and Haas SL-20.
These machines played an important role in our growth, consistently delivering reliable performance and supporting a wide range of customer projects over the years.
However, as customer requirements evolved and component complexity increased, we identified the need for:
- A future-ready manufacturing platform aligned with modern digital production strategies
- Greater multi-axis machining capability
- Improved productivity and reduced setup times
- Higher machining accuracy and process consistency
- Increased capacity to support growing demand
The Solution
Following a detailed review of our current and future manufacturing requirements, we invested in three brand-new DN Solutions DVF 5000 machines supplied by DN Solutions and Mills CNC.
The introduction of the DVF 5000 machines marks a significant advancement in our machining capability, delivering increased flexibility, productivity, and precision across a wide range of complex applications.
This investment allows us to confidently support both current and future customer requirements while improving overall manufacturing efficiency throughout the business.
Why the DN Solutions DVF 5000?
We selected the DVF 5000 machines to replace our existing Haas equipment due to their advanced 5-axis machining capability and long-term production benefits.
The arrival of the new DVF 5000 machines has already delivered several operational advantages:
- Increased confidence within our machining and production teams
- Faster production cycles and improved throughput
- Increased machining capability for complex and high-precision components
- Reduced manual intervention and setup requirements
- Improved consistency and repeatability across production batches
- Greater flexibility to support a wider range of customer applications
Investment in the future
The arrival of the DN Solutions DVF 5000 machines represents more than a machinery upgrade, it reflects our continued drive to modernise and expand our manufacturing capability.
By investing in more advanced 5-axis technology, we are creating a more agile and efficient production environment capable of supporting increasingly sophisticated components and evolving customer expectations.
The additional capacity and improved machining flexibility will also allow us to streamline production workflows, reduce lead times, and strengthen our ability to support both existing and future projects.
Conclusion
We already operate advanced 5-axis machining technology within our existing plant, including the Matsuura MX-330 PC10, which has played an important role in supporting complex and high-precision manufacturing requirements.
The addition of three new DVF 5000 machines further strengthens this capability, significantly increasing our production capacity, machining flexibility, and overall workflow efficiency across the business.
By expanding our existing 5-axis capability rather than introducing it for the first time, we are continuing to build on a strong manufacturing foundation while enhancing our ability to support complex, high-value components across a wide range of industries.
